Also known as a "Spirit" lamp - an alcohol lamp is used as a flame polisher. The lamp is used in many applications where a low flame heat is desired: jewelry wax carving, craft work, science labs, candle wax working, leather, and woodwork.

Lamp has screw adjustment for wick, and safety cap to prevent evaporation of fuel. Faceted bowl can be tipped on angle. Bowl diameter is 3-5/16" and holds 4 oz. of fuel. 3/16" wick is supplied.

Excellent for heating tools, carvers, spatulas in wax working.
