After graduating, he moved to Brooklyn, NY to work as a fabricator at Uhuru. There, he mastered his craft as a woodworker, became exposed to the dynamic design community in New York, and met Tammer Hijazi. After working together for a couple years at Uhuru, Danny and Tammer quickly realized how well they worked together and eventually started coming up with collaborative designs. In 2013 they left Uhuru to launch their contemporary design studio Bower. Danny and Tammer now have the freedom to fully explore their creative partnership, designing a range of objects and spaces around the world. Together, they strive to connect with people through the character of their simple, innovative and sometimes surprising designs.
