This medium allows you to blend oil and alkyd colors without making them too transparent or too fluid to cover surfaces well. It slows drying and improves flow; when used in glazing, it won't become tacky quickly, allowing you to build up highlights and shadows slowly. Ideal for blending, glazing, stroke work, antiquing and staining.
